Read Kono Koi wo Wasurenai after years or searching for this. Seriously. I remember The Flower That Blooms In You, exactly. But I couldn't remember the name of the manga. A major failure on my part. But as for the first story, on mangafox, which may actually be the second, which is called:

Peach or Lemon.

It's basically about Nakahara Azumi who meets a guy named Jun who goes to her school. He's a nice guy and as he sees her look at the other couples longingly, tells her: Nakahara-san, would you like a candy? If you pick a peach, we get to hang out tomorrow.

She ends up picking a peach, and they become friends.

After she has thoughts of liking him, she finds out from her friend, Eri, that he never really got over this girl from the tennis club, but tries to reassure her. Soon after she sees the girl from the tennis club trying to get back together with Jun, and runs away, with tears in her eyes. He phones her cell when she gets home later on, and acts happy like an idiot, telling him she wants to find her destined love and wanted to spend time with him because he's Eri's boyfriend's friend.

The two try to cut each other off, but in a dramatic confession, she tells him that she doesn't want him to hang out with anyone else the next day at school.

At the end you find out that he cheated and that all of the candies were peach, because he hates them and wanted to hang out with her again.

They're really similar, and the whole manga is very short and sweet. The art is average, but it's warm. It's cute, and simple, though I wish that all one shots had more depth, and were less stereotypical, but that's how it's gotta be, I guess.
